| This is just an observation of another absurdity in the registration and certification process. A TPA which I have encountered has all required certifications except energy and electrical (two technically challenging disciplines) They do have an old-timer on staff, a 17, who is totally clueless about the codes. He was a crony of the township's administration and their do-nothing plumbing inspector for too many years. The TPA was asked to hire him as part of the deal. Anyway most of the TPA's other certificate holders are bright and knowledgeable but, by law they cannot review or inspect electrical or energy compliance, only the 17 is allowed to do this. Your thoughts on this. |

| The TPA does not have anyone to handle energy and electrical for residential. I was simply point out the absurdity of having this totally unqualified 17 handling energy and electrical on commercial projects. |
